While the manager is willing to take tactical duration calls, the majority of the portfolio is held until maturity, ensuring predictability and stability.

The fund's duration strategy is actively managed to adapt to changing interest-rate cycles. Initially, duration ranged between 1.0 and 2.0 years, during central bank rate hikes to mitigate risk. As the Reserve Bank of India neared the end of its tightening cycle, the manager gradually increased duration, positioning the portfolio for a more favorable rate environment.
